The Music

Music composed and conducted by: John Williams

Reviewing the film for Variety, Todd McCarthy commented that "John Williams' subdued, flavorful score is perhaps as atypical as is his concurrent one for Memoirs of a Geisha, the film Spielberg once intended to make himself." In The Hollywood Reporter, Kirk Honeycutt wrote: "Michael Kahn's editing builds suspense in the individual sequences in a Hitchcockian manner as John Williams' muted score quickens the pulse."
