This 2-DVD set includes both Robert Siodmak's 1946 film version of Ernest Hemingway's short story The Killers and Don Siegel's 1964 film of the same name. Both films have isolated music and effects tracks: Miklós Rózsa's score (from which the famous Dragnet theme was appropriated) is featured on the former and Johnny Williams' music on the latter. In both cases the music is accompanied by sound effects and the volume level varies to accommodate dialogue.
